Now that The City has elected an avowed progressive/communist as mayor, it’s only a matter of time until it becomes a carbon copy of bankrupt Detroit.
You think you’ve seen cronyism? Get ready for the mother of all crony administrations. Unions are licking their chops, and political opportunists look forward to infinite, copious “favors” from their new mayor.
And if you are considered “rich” your taxes will become astronomical. In a few years time, Manhattan will likely become a ghost town; it’s skyscrapers mute testimony to what once was a vibrant center of marketing and commerce.
