Steele on Trump - More AOC - LA Wins

Former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele claimed that President Trump is "probably not happy" that law enforcement disrupted mass assassination plans by a white nationalist.Steele regularly criticizes the president on cable news networks.
Steele's comments arose on MSNBC's "Deadline: White House" in which the panel upbraided the president for comments on Jussie Smollett, and for not condemning white nationalism in the wake of Christopher Paul Hasson's arrest.
Steele said, "Why would we be surprised a self-proclaimed nationalist would not speak out against a self-proclaimed white nationalist? These are his people."

Today's Award goes to the City of Los Angeles.

The City of Los Angeles recently announced that it would no longer support nor invest in the fossil fuel industry. Their focus and investments will instead be turned toward "renewable," green energy. We'll see how that works out. Don't be surprised as LA descends deeper into Dystopia.

Smollett Supporters Backpedal - Trump and LGBTQ Activists

Now that the Jussie Smollett attack appears to have been a setup, the supporters of his story are having to backpedal big time. Their latest reactions should have been the first ones, as in "Let's get the facts before we judge."

The Trump administration is set to launch a global campaign to decriminalize homosexuality. The U.S. embassy is hosting LGBTQ activists from across the world to lay out a plan that would advocate for decriminalization in places that still outlaw homosexuality.

Andrew Cuomo wins Foot Shot Award - Anti-Abortion Poem

Today's Award goes to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Governor Cuomo has been blaming everything but his own economic policies, for the mass exodus from his state. Higher taxes and out-of-control spending coupled with his anti-conservative rhetoric have played a major role in spurring New Yorkers to leave. And the icing on the cake? He has declared and made legal that full-term babies can be aborted.

I hope in Hell there is a wall
That stretches for eternity
Engraved with the names of all
Who were not allowed to be

Discarded as mere refuse
Life ripped bloody from the womb
Suffers the ultimate abuse
From barely conceived, into a tomb

All who share in this unholy breech
Are chained and shackled to one and all
Forever to hear that fetal screech
And trudge forever along that wall

Ocasio-Cortez Award - Emperor Trump

Pithanthropy (The Blog) is back after a long hiatus. We hope you enjoy it.

Today's Award goes to New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Upon hearing that Amazon would not open a headquarters facility in her district, Ocasio-Cortez celebrated: “Anything is possible: today was the day a group of dedicated, everyday New Yorkers & their neighbors defeated Amazon’s corporate greed, its worker exploitation, and the power of the richest man in the world,”  she told her Twitter followers. The prospect of some 20,000 plus jobs for her district just evaporated, and she's pleased.
