Steele on Trump - More AOC - LA Wins

Former Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele claimed that President Trump is "probably not happy" that law enforcement disrupted mass assassination plans by a white nationalist.Steele regularly criticizes the president on cable news networks.
Steele's comments arose on MSNBC's "Deadline: White House" in which the panel upbraided the president for comments on Jussie Smollett, and for not condemning white nationalism in the wake of Christopher Paul Hasson's arrest.
Steele said, "Why would we be surprised a self-proclaimed nationalist would not speak out against a self-proclaimed white nationalist? These are his people."

Today's Award goes to the City of Los Angeles.

The City of Los Angeles recently announced that it would no longer support nor invest in the fossil fuel industry. Their focus and investments will instead be turned toward "renewable," green energy. We'll see how that works out. Don't be surprised as LA descends deeper into Dystopia.

Smollett Supporters Backpedal - Trump and LGBTQ Activists

Now that the Jussie Smollett attack appears to have been a setup, the supporters of his story are having to backpedal big time. Their latest reactions should have been the first ones, as in "Let's get the facts before we judge."

The Trump administration is set to launch a global campaign to decriminalize homosexuality. The U.S. embassy is hosting LGBTQ activists from across the world to lay out a plan that would advocate for decriminalization in places that still outlaw homosexuality.

Andrew Cuomo wins Foot Shot Award - Anti-Abortion Poem

Today's Award goes to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Governor Cuomo has been blaming everything but his own economic policies, for the mass exodus from his state. Higher taxes and out-of-control spending coupled with his anti-conservative rhetoric have played a major role in spurring New Yorkers to leave. And the icing on the cake? He has declared and made legal that full-term babies can be aborted.

I hope in Hell there is a wall
That stretches for eternity
Engraved with the names of all
Who were not allowed to be

Discarded as mere refuse
Life ripped bloody from the womb
Suffers the ultimate abuse
From barely conceived, into a tomb

All who share in this unholy breech
Are chained and shackled to one and all
Forever to hear that fetal screech
And trudge forever along that wall

Ocasio-Cortez Award - Emperor Trump

Pithanthropy (The Blog) is back after a long hiatus. We hope you enjoy it.

Today's Award goes to New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Upon hearing that Amazon would not open a headquarters facility in her district, Ocasio-Cortez celebrated: “Anything is possible: today was the day a group of dedicated, everyday New Yorkers & their neighbors defeated Amazon’s corporate greed, its worker exploitation, and the power of the richest man in the world,”  she told her Twitter followers. The prospect of some 20,000 plus jobs for her district just evaporated, and she's pleased.

Teach your children well? Michael Mulgrew shows the way

At the American Federation of Teachers convention in Los Angeles this past July, in defense of Common Core, Michael Mulgrew said:

“If someone takes something from me, I’m going to grab it right back out of their cold, twisted, sick hands and say it is mine! You do not take what is mine! And I’m going to punch you in the face and push you in the dirt because this is the teachers’! These are our tools and you sick people need to deal with us and the children that we teach. Thank you very much!”
Wow…just wow.

Why are the leftists so afraid of US exceptionalism?

“I get always a little uptight when I hear politicians say how exceptional we are – not because we’re not exceptional, but because it’s kind of in-your-face and a lot of other people are exceptional, a lot of other places do exceptional things.” - John Kerry

Once again, Secretary of State Kerry has back-handedly championed the cause of mediocrity.
The leftist progressives would have you believe that it’s possible for everyone to be exceptional, which is an oxymoronic idea. What they really mean is that none should be exceptional, therefore everyone should be the same. Their idea of utopian bliss: a monochrome world where all people are dreamless, uninspired automatons.
But the telling part of Kerry’s comment is the phrase “in-your-face.” The left can’t stand that there exists for some a heightened level of passion and confidence, a strong defense of one’s position which puts them into direct confrontation with their opponents.
In this “put up or shut up” scenario, the leftists can’t compete. Their milieu is furtive cunning and manipulation. When anything they do is pulled into daylight, fully open for all to see, they fear being exposed as frauds, liars and seditionists.
It was exceptionalism that made the United States the leading force in the Twentieth Century. Here and now, in the Twenty-first Century, we are watching the leftists attempt to drag the US down into the swamp with the rest of the snakes and leeches, where everything swims in the muck to simply survive.
We have been and can be better than that, and God willing we will again find our way back to being exceptional.

Paul R. Ehrlich still predicts population catastrophe

One-note-singer Paul Ehrlich has been predicting a world population disaster since the 1960’s.
The author of “The Population Bomb” (1968) was recently interviewed on HuffPost Live.
Ehrlich claimed we would soon wonder if “is it perfectly okay to eat the bodies of your dead because we’re all so hungry?” He added that humanity is “moving in that direction with a ridiculous speed.”

Recent Headlines – Maher and Muslims

From The Washington Times:
Bill Maher: Liberals too soft on Islam, the 'elephant in the room'
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/may/10/bill-maher-liberals-too-soft-islam-elephant-room/

Thanks, Bill, for pointing out this glaring hypocrisy on the left. You just might make some liberals finally aware of the evils of shariah. Forget the “war on women” -- shariah law treats women as disposable objects.

From The New York Times:
New York Police Recruit Muslims to Be Informers

[Sarcasm alert] Oh yeah, I can see some reliable information coming from the people who practice taqiyya and kitman. If you are unfamiliar with those terms, they are principals of Islam, which allow Muslims to lie to unbelievers. Taqiyya refers to outright lies and falsehoods; kitman refers to omitting information.

Beware misleading headlines and articles

Below is a short article that appeared in the New York Times. It’s not much, a headline and one paragraph, comprised of four sentences. But the implied meanings in this article are telling of the left’s agenda, and the media’s complicity in enabling the left’s campaign of misinformation.

      New York Times | U.S. | National Briefing | Midwest |
By the Associated Press, April 11, 2014

Ohio: Geologists Link Earthquakes to Gas Drilling

State geologists have linked earthquakes in a geologic formation deep under the Appalachians to gas            drilling, leading Ohio to issue new permit conditions on Friday in certain areas. A state investigation of
five small tremors in the Youngstown area last month has found the high-pressure injection of sand, water      and chemicals that accompanies fracking in the Utica Shale may have increased pressure on a small,              unknown fault, said Rick Simmers, chief of the oil and gas division of the State Department of
Natural Resources. He called the link probable. While earlier studies had linked earthquakes to a
deep-injection well used for the disposal of fracking wastewater, this is the first time tremors have
been tied directly to fracking, he said.

First there’s the misleading headline; if you were just getting your news from headlines, you would be led to assume that scientists have somehow determined that gas drilling causes earthquakes. I’m a little surprised that the writer of this AP article didn’t use the buzzword “fracking” instead of “gas drilling” in the headline because that would have added more “pop” to it.

Allow us to re-write this article as follows:
“State geologists have [tenuously] linked earthquakes in an [unsubstantiated] geologic formation deep under the Appalachians to gas drilling [a.k.a. “fracking”], leading Ohio to issue new permit conditions on Friday in certain areas.” Notice that all it takes is an unfounded assertion by “scientists” to spur governmental authorities to make up new rules for an industry.

The next is a run-on sentence, but we will correct it as we go:
“[Fracking is] the high-pressure injection of sand, water and chemicals [deep underground.] Five small tremors occurred in the Youngstown area last month. A state investigation has found [conjectured that] fracking in the Utica Shale may have increased pressure on a small, unknown fault, said Rick Simmers, chief of the oil and gas division of the State Department of Natural Resources.” Emphasis added.

“He called the link probable.” Translation: It could happen but we don’t know for sure.

“While earlier studies had [tenuously] linked earthquakes to a deep-injection well used for the disposal of fracking wastewater, this is the first time tremors have been [speciously] tied directly to fracking, [according to Mr. Simmers].”

While it would be exhausting to try to dissect every instance of misinformation, just be aware that a lot of what you read or hear is crafted to mislead you.

To quote the old saw: Forewarned is forearmed.

Brandeis' war on women and women's advocates

Denied honor for speaking truth
‘‘Once it’s defeated, it can mutate into something peaceful. It’s very difficult to even talk about peace now. They’re not interested in peace. I think that we are at war with Islam. And there’s no middle ground in wars.’’

Justina Pelletier has been kidnapped…by Boston Children’s Hospital and Mass. DFC!

Justina’s case has gained attention after a diagnostic dispute between her doctors at Tufts Medical Center and at Boston Children’s Hospital over whether her deteriorating condition was primarily a physical or a psychiatric problem.
She was being treated at Tufts for more than a year for mitochondrial disease, a group of genetic disorders that affect how cells produce energy, often causing problems with the gut, brain, muscles, and heart. However, doctors at Children’s hospital took a different view and concluded that her physical symptoms were primarily caused by psychological disorders.

The dark side of amnesty

In December of 2010, Amanda Gschwendner was involved in a wreck near her home in Aiken, Georgia. The at-fault driver of the other vehicle was an illegal immigrant. He gave police a false name and complained of injuries, so he was sent to a local hospital. He was treated, released and promptly disappeared. Amanda was confined to a wheelchair for some time after the wreck

Steve Salvi, the founder of Ohio Jobs and Justice PAC, has created
a memorial for victims of illegal immigrants.
